Get to Know Logan
From a small rural town near Dayton, Ohio, to the busy city of Philadelphia, with a few stops along the way, my aviation journey has been anything but ordinary. Becoming a flight attendant was a dream I held onto for years, even while working full-time at an insurance agency. After undergoing back surgery for a broken back, I made a life-changing decision: it was time to pursue that dream.
I began my aviation career on the ramp with Delta Air Lines in Cincinnati (CVG), working my way up to the operations tower and later serving as a Red Coat at the gates. I had the privilege of working with incredible people, but each time I closed an aircraft door without being on board, I knew I wasn’t where I truly belonged. I needed to be in the sky.
During that time, I experienced firsthand what it’s like to face workplace challenges without union protection. That moment shaped my perspective and reinforced just how critical a strong union and contract are in this industry.
When I joined PSA Airlines, I knew immediately that I wanted to get involved. I even told union representatives that during training. As soon as I completed probation, I jumped in, starting with the Mobilization Committee, helping secure votes for strike authorization, and then moving on to the Grievance Committee.
Representing flight attendants in meetings with management showed me exactly where I was meant to serve outside the cabin. I found my passion in advocating for our peers, holding management accountable, and protecting our contract. It’s work that has brought me immense pride and fulfillment.
I also took on the role of Communications Chair, where I focused on strengthening how we connect with one another. I firmly believe that strong communication builds trust, and trust builds unity. Values I will continue to prioritize if elected.
On a personal note, I’m a proud parent to my 8-year-old son, Graysen, who has walked the picket line with me and has been my sidekick whenever he’s in Philly. I’m also incredibly grateful for my partner, Tommy, whose support makes this work possible.
Union work is deeply rewarding but it’s also demanding. Whether it’s answering a 2 a.m. call from a flight attendant in need or waking up early to help someone get to work, when duty calls, you answer. That level of commitment is something I bring every day.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I would be honored to earn your support and your vote.
In Solidarity,
Logan Arnett
