Candidate Statement
A vision for a stronger, more united LEC 57.
Dear Fellow LEC 57 Members,
I am writing to you today not just as a candidate for Vice President, but as a dedicated colleague who believes in the collective power of our union. As a Dayton native and now a Philly-based flight attendant I understand the needs of both bases. My commitment to our union has always been defined by a simple principle: advocacy through accountability. As your current Grievance Representative, I have seen firsthand the challenges we face daily, from scheduling conflicts to contract disputes. I experience them too! I have stood beside many of you in the toughest rooms, ensuring that management respects the contract we worked so hard to secure.
The role of Vice President requires more than just a title; it requires a leader who is accessible, skilled in conflict resolution, and deeply committed to unity. My vision for LEC 57 is one where every flight attendant, from the most senior to our newest hires, feels represented and protected. I plan to leverage my advanced training to streamline our communication channels and provide proactive support before problems arise.
I am asking for your support and your vote because I know that together, we can build a stronger, more transparent leadership. Our union's strength lies in our unity, and I am ready to be the anchor for that strength. Let's move forward with integrity and a shared mission to protect our profession and our future.
In Solidarity,
Logan Arnett
